The geography of Navarra is, despite its small size,
very varied. The northern territory is mountainous, dominated by the
Pyrenees, in contrast to the southern plains: the Bank, which gives
a wealth of Navarra and diversity of landscapes, different ways of
being of its people and a monumental architectural legacy of the old
Kingdom of Navarra, whose final found it in Salinas de Pamplona with
the loss of the great battle on June 30, 1521. In memory of this battle
there is a monument, place of meeting the last Sunday of June.
